Happy Birthday, Owen!

Owen celebrated his first birthday on February 22nd. He has brought us such joy and I'm so thankful for him. He is affectionate, playful and curious. He likes to climb into or on top of anything (see photos below). Also, true to our family's form, he loves to eat.

We celebrated his birthday with friends and family. He definitely enjoyed the cupcake part.

 

 Of course, in order to ensure the most frosting reached the most skin possible, he played the "hello" game. With the cupcake.

 But then he got down to business, as you can see.

 

It was a 'ball' theme, as that was his first and (as far as I can tell) favorite word.
